Had perfect stay for a quick visit and the weather was warm. Functional room, that also was compact for our needs. It was nice to have an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. The location was magnificent, a short walk from Paddington.

The receptionist tried very hard to be welcoming and liked been able to leave luggage. Also surprised how quiet hotel was at night. Breakfast reasonable choice and staff tried hard to serve all but really needed help.
Warmth of room , security of payment , very concerned about having to leave credit card details on paper record. Worried about fire escape, fire door was locked with a padlock!!!! Also when booking understood we were getting a discount but were actually charged standard rate.

Good wireless access, breakfast buffet in stead of set breakfast
Only a simple hand soap - no shampoo - and not enough table space in the room

Very impressed with double room with comfy beds. Great and lovely location, not very far from a Hyde park.

Good location near to Underground. Pleasant and helpful reception/breakfast staff.
Pretty typical for a London Hotel at the price - small room with very basic facilities. One morning no cleared breakfast tables were available as all were full of breakfast clutter - however on pointing this out to staff, they did immediately clear a table. A no-frills place simply to sleep - but no more.

Quiet - not near any night clubs or pubs. Good value for money. The room was 'squeezed' in, but it was the cleanest I have stayed in for a while. Easy walking distance for me and my teenage daughters to Oxford Street, maybe not for a young family. Very helpful if you want to leave bags for the day before your train/flight. I would probably use the hotel again for a similar trip.
The beds were far too hard. We ached in the morning.
